By accessing and using our website and services ("www.jobprepIndia.com"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service (the "Terms").

These Terms also include our Privacy Policy. If you are using JobPrep on behalf of a university or other legal entity, then "you" also means such university or legal entity and you agree to be bound by these Terms even if we have a separate agreement with you. If you do not agree with any of the Terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing JobPrep.

We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time. If we do, we will post the modified Terms on this page and indicate the date of the most recent change above. Your continued use of JobPrep constitutes acceptance of these Terms and any modifications thereto.

Please note: These Terms require the use of arbitration on an individual basis to resolve disputes, rather than trials or court proceedings, and also limit the remedies available to you in the event of a dispute.

Your JobPrep Account

You may be required to register an account with us for the purposes of using our services. You agree that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge. You must be at least 15 years of age or emancipated according to the local jurisdiction.

You will be required to share certain personal information with us as part of your account. You agree to maintain the information as to its accuracy. Failure to maintain an up-to-date account may result in your inability to use our services. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs on your account.

In registering, you may elect to create an account with a valid email address and password. You understand and acknowledge that if you create an account using any third party services, you will be subject to those terms and conditions as well as privacy policies in connection with the use of our services.

The terms of your account shall be protected by our privacy policy including any user-generated material or confidential information provided as part of your account.

Use of Services

Content from other users and third parities may be made available to you through JobPrep. "Content" means any work or authorship or information, including salaries, company reviews, interview reviews, institution or company photos, logos, employer profile information, comments, opinions, postings, resumes, text, files, images, photos, works of authorship, e-mail, data, or other materials you find on JobPrep. Because we do not control such Content, you understand and agree that (1) we are not responsible for, and do not endorse, any such Content; (2) we make no guarantees about the accuracy, currency, suitability, reliability or quality of the information in such Content; and (3) we assume no responsibility for unintended, objectionable, inaccurate, misleading, or unlawful Content made available by users, advertisers, and third parties.

You agree, represent, and warrant that you will use JobPrep for only lawful purposes in a manner consistent with these Terms and any and all applicable laws, regulations, or other legally enforceable obligations you may have towards us and any third parties. You are solely responsible for any and all Content that is posted through your account on JobPrep ("Your Content".) You agree that by submitting or authorizing Your Content for use on JobPrep, you have reviewed and understood these Terms. You understand that you may expose yourself to liability if Your Content or other use of JobPrep violated applicable law or any third-party right.

We do not claim ownership in any Content that you submit or authorize for use to JobPrep, but you grant us the right to use such Content as set forth below. By submitting or authorizing us to display any Content on JobPrep, you hereby grant to us an unrestricted, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, fully-paid and royalty-free, license (with the right to sublicense through unlimited levels of sub-licenses) to use, copy, perform, display, create, paywall, or sell derivative works of, adapt and distribute such Content in any and all media (now known or later developed) throughout the world. To the greatest extent permitted by applicable law, you hereby expressly waive any and all of your moral rights applicable to JobPrep's exercise of the foregoing license. You agree that this license includes the right for us to provide, promote, and improve JobPrep and to make Content submitted to or through JobPrep available to other companies, organizations or individuals for the syndication, broadcast, distribution, promotion or publication of such Content on other media and services, subject to our terms and conditions for such Content use. No compensation will be paid with respect to the Content that you post through JobPrep. You should only submit Content to JobPrep that you are comfortable sharing with others under the terms and conditions of these Terms.

JobPrep may contain links to third-party websites placed by us as a service to those interested in this information or posted by other users. Your use of all such links to third-party websites is at your own risk. We do not monitor or have any control over and make no claim or representation regarding third-party websites. To the extent such links are provided by us, they are provided only as a convenience, and a link to a third-party website does not imply our endorsement, adoption or sponsorship of, or affiliation with, such third-party website. When you leave JobPrep, our terms and policies do not govern your use of third-party websites.

You agree that you will not:

  • Impersonate another person, or their email address, or misrepresent your current or former affiliation with an employer.
  • Create user accounts under false or fraudulent pretenses; create or use an account for anyone other than yourself.
  • Post Content that you do not own or have the right to post in accordance with the license set forth in these Terms;
  • Post Content that is defamatory, libelous, or fraudulent; that you know to be false or misleading; or that does not reflect your honest opinion and experience;
  • Act in a manner that is harassing, threatening, abusive, racist or bigoted, is otherwise objectionable (as determined by JobPrep);
  • Promote, endorse or further illegal activities;
  • Disclose information in violation of any legally enforceable confidentiality, non-disclosure or other contractual restrictions or rights of any third party, including any current or former employers or potential employers or any current or former alma mater (educational institutions, organizations where you may have interned at, or done a project) ;
  • Violate the privacy, publicity, copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property or proprietary rights of any third-party;
  • Post anything pornographic or sexually explicit in nature, or engage in the exploitation of persons in a sexual or violent manner;
  • Imply a JobPrep endorsement or partnership of any kind without our express written permission;
  • Send messages in violation of any other applicable anti-spam law;
  • Introduce software or automated agents to JobPrep, or access JobPrep so as to produce multiple accounts, generate automated messages, or to scrape, strip or mine data from JobPrep without our express written permission;
  • "Frame" or "mirror" or otherwise incorporate part of JobPrep into any website, or "deep-link" to any portion of JobPrep without our express written permission.
  • Copy, modify or create derivative works of JobPrep or any Content (excluding Your Content) without our express written permission;
  • Copy or use the information, Content (excluding Your Content), or data on JobPrep in connection with a competitive service, as determined by JobPrep;
  • Sell, resell, rent, lease, loan, trade or otherwise monetize access to JobPrep or any Content (excluding Your Content) without our express written permission;
  • Interfere with, disrupt, modify, reverse engineer, or decompile any data or functionality of JobPrep;
  • Introduce any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, corrupted files, or similar software to JobPrep; or attempt to circumvent any security feature of JobPrep;

Enforcement by JobPrep

While JobPrep has no obligation to do so, JobPrep reserves the right to review, edit, and delete any Content (or portion thereof) that we believe, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or other applicable policies posted on JobPrep, or that we deem, in our sole discretion, inappropriate.

While we have no obligation to do so, we reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action in our sole direction against you if you violate these Terms, including without limitation: suspending your rights to use JobPrep; terminating your membership and account; reporting you to law enforcement, regulatory authorities, or administrative bodies; and taking legal action against you.

JobPrep Rules

Jobprep (https://www.jobprepindia.com) is an open platform that exists to enable sharing of experiences, ideas, perspectives, learning materials and learning assisting content to those who are in need of them and the same can be subscribed by anyone including but not limited to institutions, organizations or agencies, trainers, teachers, students, parents.

We welcome thoughtful, civil and helpful discussions and encourage a broad spectrum of viewpoints, experiences, etc. To maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for a wide range of people to engage in meaningful conversations, we prohibit certain conduct.

In deciding whether there has been a violation of the rules, we will take into consideration things like newsworthiness, the context and nature of the posted information, the likelihood and severity of actual or potential harms, account history, and applicable laws.

Violations of our rules may result in consequences such as account restrictions or suspension of your content.

JobPrep has the sole authority and final decision as to whether content or behavior violates our rules.

To report a violation:

If you find a post or account on JobPrep that you believe violates these rules, please report it. You can use this form to provide more detail or to report other conduct you believe violates our rules. Additionally, you can send an email to admin@jobprepindia.com.

Duplicate Content

We do not allow posting duplicate copies of the same content to JobPrep, whether from a single account or across multiple accounts, either publicly or as an unlisted story. You are allowed to contribute content to JobPrep, provided you own the rights for the content.

Spam or Site Misuse

We do not allow spam or misuse of JobPrep. All spam or misuse will be immediately removed without notification. Examples of spam or misuse include:

  • Posting content primarily to drive traffic to, or increase the search rankings of, an external site, product, or service
  • Scraping and reposting content from other sources for the primary purpose of generating revenue or other personal gains
  • Posting duplicate content, whether from a single account or across multiple accounts
  • Stories where the content is clipped with the purpose of linking to the rest of the article on a different website
  • Performing a disproportionately large number of interactions, particularly by automated means. This includes bulk or indiscriminate interactions, such as following of other accounts (follow spam) likes, comments, shares, flagging content, etc.
  • Repeatedly using responses, mentions, or other interactions as a method of promotion or marketing
  • Participating in bounty campaigns or brigades to artificially inflate views for posts, subscription accounts, businesses, or products
  • Use or re-use content templates with slight modifications across multiple posts and accounts

Copyright and Trademark Infringement

Respect the copyrights and trademarks of others. Per our Terms of Service, we require users to have permission to post the content they publish on JobPrep. Additionally, we have specific policies around plagiarism, to which all JobPrep accounts are held. Users found in violation of our copyright rules are not eligible for warning, appeal, or restoration. Deletion of copyright violations is not grounds for reinstatement.

We respond to notices of alleged infringement as described in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Deceptive Conduct

We do not allow deceptive conduct on JobPrep. This includes:

  • Posting content or impersonating a person or organization in a way likely to deceive people.
  • Using JobPrep for phishing or fraud. Don’t use tags, links, titles, or other metadata in a misleading way. Don’t link to or embed malicious or harmful code or software in your posts.
  • Using deception to generate revenue or traffic
  • If you have received free goods or services, or anything of value in connection with the topic of a post, you must make this clear.

Paid, Automatic, Bulk, or Non-Genuine Interactions

JobPrep depends on various user behaviors — such as LIKES, COMMENTS, FOLLOW, SHARES — to determine what content to feature and make the site work well for everyone. We don’t allow artificial behaviors that skew this system and as a result degrade or distort other users’ experiences.

This includes:

  • Buying, selling, or trading in accounts or account interactions — including views, reads, follows, likes, comments, responses, or other traffic
  • Using services, apps, or arrangements that offer you more views, reads, comments, likes, or other interactions on your JobPrep account or content
  • Registering accounts, posting content, or interacting with users or content automatically, systematically, or programmatically

Prohibitions on Use of the Services

You agree not to do, try to do, or cause a third party to do any of the following, except without the express written consent of JobPrep:

  1. Access or tamper with non-public areas of the Services, our computer systems, or the systems of our technical providers;
  2. Access or search the Services by any means other than the currently available, published interfaces (e.g., APIs) that we provide;
  3. Forge any TCP/IP packet header or any part of the header information in any email or posting, or in any way use the Services to send altered, deceptive, or false source-identifying information;
  4. Use the Services in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the Services, or interfere with any other use of the Services;
  5. Use any software, script, robot, spider or other automatic device, process or means (including crawlers, browser plugins and add-ons or any other technology) to access the Services for any purpose, including without limitation to scrape or otherwise copy any of the data or content on the Services;
  6. Use any manual process to monitor or copy any of the data or content on the Services, or to engage in any other unauthorized purpose;
  7. Otherwise use any device, software or routine that interferes with the proper working of the Services; or
  8. Otherwise attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Services.

Use of Custom Domain Features

JobPrep provides the ability to point a domain name that you control to a publication on JobPrep. If you use this custom domain feature, you understand that your publication will still be hosted on JobPrep and will still be subject to JobPrep’s Terms of Service. If you use this custom domain feature, you may not do, try to do, or cause a third party to do the following:

  1. Alter the look and feel or transform the content of the webpage, including by injecting ads, inserting tracking code, or altering the JobPrep look or feel;
  2. Use proxy servers or any other means to short-circuit our rules or circumvent user protections; or
  3. Mislead users about what site they are on or what their actions will do.

Your use of the custom domain feature must comply with our Privacy Policy. Please note that our rules around storing, transferring, and using user data are more user-protective than some other sites’. We do not sell user data or allow tracking of our users across the web. We expect you to uphold these same rules and policies in connection with operating your custom domain.

How to Report a Violation

If you find a post or account on JobPrep that violates these rules, please report it, send us an email to admin@jobprepindia.com.

If You Break the Rules

We strive to be fair, but we reserve the right to suspend accounts or remove content, without notice, for any reason, particularly to protect our services, infrastructure, users, or community. If you attempt to evade suspension by creating new accounts or posts, we will suspend your new accounts and posts.

Notice

Upon investigating or disabling content associated with your account, we will notify you, unless we believe your account is automated or operating in bad faith, or that notifying you is likely to cause, maintain or exacerbate harm to someone.

Appeals

If you believe your content or account has been restricted or disabled in error, or believe there is relevant context we were not aware of in reaching our determination, you can write to us at admin@jobprepindia.com. We will consider all good faith efforts to appeal.

We may enforce, or not enforce, these policies at our sole discretion. These policies don’t create a duty or contractual obligation for us to act.

We also may change these rules at any time.
